The difference
Governance is the product, not a setting inside it
Plenty of tools can schedule a post. What decides whether a platform can be trusted with a brand's public voice is what happens in the moments before and after — who authorised it, what exactly they authorised, what was checked, and what the resulting numbers actually mean.
Security principlesAI output is advisory
Recommendations, analyses and drafts are input to a decision. They carry no authority of their own and never execute themselves.
Human authorisation is required
Governed external actions — publishing, public replies — require an explicit authorisation from a person entitled to give it.
Approvals do not override validation
If a platform-level or rights-level check fails, the action is refused. Seniority does not bypass a failed check.
Rights are validated separately
Permission to use content is checked independently of the approval to publish it. One is never allowed to stand in for the other.
Unavailable evidence is not zero
A metric that could not be retrieved is recorded as unavailable. It is never quietly rendered as a zero that looks like a result.
Simulated and live stay distinct
Simulated activity is labelled at every point it appears, and that label survives into exports and client reports.
Client reports preserve the provenance of their evidence, so what a client was shown remains inspectable afterwards — including whether the underlying evidence was live, simulated or a mixture of the two.

Designed to integrate with major social platforms
Integration availability varies by provider, API access, permissions, account type and platform approval. Some integrations may require platform review or activation, and demo or simulated environments may be used where live provider activation is unavailable.

Architecture-level principles, not badges
OAuth-based authorisation
Accounts are connected through each provider's own authorisation flow. Social-platform passwords are never requested or stored.
Encrypted social credentials
Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and used only to perform the functions the user asked for.
Workspace isolation
Content, connections, approvals and reports belong to a workspace and do not cross into another.
Role-based access
Permissions are enforced where the action happens, not only where the control is drawn.
Approvals
Governed external actions require an explicit human authorisation, bound to the exact payload approved.
Audit history
Significant actions are recorded with their actor, time and outcome — and may outlive the content they describe.
Rights validation
Creator permissions are validated at publish time, independently of the approval workflow.
Explicit simulation labelling
Simulated activity is labelled everywhere it appears, including in exports and client reports.
Social Intelligence OS uses official provider authorisation and API mechanisms. It does not rely on credential sharing or unauthorised scraping for connected-account functionality.
